Terms of Service
Last updated: September 3, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Hallelu app and website (the "Service"), operated by Hallelu Kids LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Hallelu," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Hallelu is
Hallelu is a subscription app offering Bible-based songs, sing-alongs, and audio stories for children, intended for use by a parent or guardian together with their child, or under their supervision.
2. Who can create an account
You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any child who uses the Service with you to create a Hallelu account. Accounts are for the use of your own family — you agree not to create an account on behalf of, or share your login with, anyone else.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Hallelu is offered on a subscription basis, billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout, at the price shown at the time you subscribe.
- Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime from your account's Manage Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you'll keep access until then, and you won't be charged again afterward.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms for the payment method you provide.
4. Content and how it's made
Some story narration, music, and artwork in Hallelu is produced with the help of AI tools, and every piece of content is reviewed by our editorial team before it's published — AI involvement in production doesn't skip human review. We aim for content that is age-appropriate, biblically respectful, and free of frightening or graphic material, but Hallelu is not a substitute for a child's own faith formation, education, or parental guidance.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could harm Hallelu, other users, or children.
- Attempt to copy, resell, redistribute, or create derivative works from Hallelu's content outside the app.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service's normal operation.
- Circumvent any subscription, payment, or access controls.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its songs, stories, narration, artwork, and branding, is owned by Hallelu Kids LLC or its licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. Subscribing gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for your family — it doesn't transfer ownership of any content to you.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hallelu Kids LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
9. Termination
You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, or if we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to protect the Service, other users, or children.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or an in-app notice before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
