Using the gratitude journal
Alongside each day's prayer, Hallelu includes a small gratitude box — a simple way to end the day by naming one good thing.
How it works
After saying the day's prayer together, you and your child each add one thing you're thankful for. It only takes a moment, and it's kept as a running gratitude diary you can look back through together.
Why it's part of prayer time
Gratitude is a habit, same as prayer — the gratitude box exists so it happens with the prayer instead of needing to be a separate thing you remember to do. Over weeks and months, looking back at what your child was grateful for on ordinary days can become one of the more meaningful parts of the app.
There's no limit on how much you write, and past entries are never deleted unless you remove them yourself.
